Note that Windows does not log the IP address here unless you are using XP with the ICF firewall or .NET server. Perhaps making the switch will help. I can't see why the time service is stopping! Can you try and sync with another external source?? Aside from all of the time errors, are seeing anything suspicious in the event logs? If it isn't already, you could try configuring the w32time service to autorestart if it stops.

I have found an excellent Active X control for reading Windows NT event logs, however I cannot get the FILTER property to work or figure out its arguments. The product is ELM32 at www.oddelement.com The VB code example is excellent for what it does, but there is no example of filtering.
